The eHy-2001 is a low-iridium oxygen evolution catalyst based on highly conductive titanium-supported IrOx@TiO₂. It is designed to reduce iridium usage while maintaining high activity and durability in PEM water electrolysis. The catalyst achieves excellent performance and long-term stability, with operation exceeding 5,000 hours at 2 A/cm².
At an iridium loading of 0.35 mg/cm² and platinum loading of 0.5 mg/cm² (N115 membrane, 60 °C, 2 A/cm²), the cell maintains around 1.9 V with a degradation rate below 10 µV/h, demonstrating high efficiency and robustness.
