Ionic Strength Adjustment (ISA) buffer based on 5M sodium nitrate (NaNO3) solution. Used to adjust the ionic strength of samples before measurement with cation ion-selective electrodes, minimising activity coefficient variations.

Typically added in a fixed ratio to both standards and samples to ensure consistent ionic background. Compatible with NT Sensors cation ISE electrodes.
