Description

AVCarb carbon and graphite electrodes give flow battery and general electrochemistry researchers a choice between thermally treated graphite felt and raw carbon paper, precision-cut to match standard laboratory cell hardware. The thermally treated graphite felt grades (G280, G475) are ready to use straight out of the pack, while the carbon paper series (MGL370/1500/2400) ships untreated for researchers who want to apply their own activation protocol. All formats are cut to the 2.5 × 2.5 cm and 5 × 5 cm active areas used across the cell range, or supplied as full 19.5 × 29.5 cm sheets for custom cutting.

  • Ready-to-Use Felt: G280 (2.8 mm) and G475 (4.7 mm) graphite felts are thermally treated for immediate catalytic performance.
  • Untreated Carbon Paper: MGL370, MGL1500, and MGL2400 grades (0.37–2.4 mm) ship untreated for custom activation protocols.
  • Cell-Matched Cutting: Precision cut to fit Redox Flow’s A-Cell, S-Cell, and X-Cell active areas without further trimming.
  • Full-Sheet Option: 19.5 × 29.5 cm sheets available for researchers cutting their own custom geometries.
  • Flexible Ordering: Sold as single pieces, pairs, or 8-packs to match project scale.
