F-10100 Cation Exchange Membrane

The F-10100 is a 90-110 µm, non-reinforced fluoropolymer cation exchange membrane supplied dry in H+ form, appearing as a transparent, slightly brown foil on a rigid PET backing that peels away before mounting. Because activation can happen in-situ inside the cell, or with an optional 6-hour soak in 10 wt% H2SO4 at 70-90 °C for labs that want lowest resistance from the first cycle, it drops into water electrolysis and redox flow battery builds without a mandatory pretreatment step. At a heavier 180-220 g/m² than the thinner films in the range, it holds >200% elongation at break and a >3 bar burst rating, giving it more margin against puncture and creasing during stack assembly.
