Glass Fiber Membrane is composed of pure borosilicate fibers, with organic resin binder (Acrylic Acid Ester Emulsion) which provide wet strength and reduces potential for fiber shedding.

Application note Glass Fiber Membrane is typically used to separate compartments in H-Cells filled with aqueous or organic electrolyte. However, it has limited chemical resistance. It is considered a good barrier for rather coarse particulate (600 nm).
