Spacer Mesh

Polypropylene spacer meshes fill the gap between electrode and membrane, or occupy the middle chamber of a 3-compartment cell, where a chemically inert, open-structure spacer is needed without adding electrical resistance. Four mesh densities spanning 250 to 1680 micron let researchers tune flow distribution and compression, available either as individual sheets or as a package bundling all four densities together for setup work across multiple cell configurations.

• Four Mesh Densities: 1680 / 1000 / 500 / 250 micron options, spanning 29–46% open area.
• Individual or Bundled: Available as single sheets or as a package with 4 pieces of each density (16 total).
• Cell-Matched Cutting: 2.5 x 2.5 cm and 5 x 5 cm precision-cut formats, or 20 x 30 cm sheet stock.
• Redox Flow’s Multi-Compartment Use: Fits the middle chamber of 3-compartment cells, and electrode-to-membrane gap spacing in flow cells.
• Chemically Inert: Polypropylene construction resists a broad range of electrolytes.
