S-Cell – Redox Flow Battery Test Cell

The S-Cell is a configurable redox flow battery component test cell developed for detailed optimization and characterization of flow battery electrodes, bipolar plates, and membranes. Its research-oriented geometry closely reflects conditions found in larger stack assemblies, enabling meaningful, scale-relevant laboratory studies.

• Designed for thick, porous electrodes such as graphite felt to support realistic flow battery material evaluation
