The IM7 is Zahner's all-purpose modular potentiostat / galvanostat including a frequency response analyzer (FRA). It delivers 32-bit DC and 24-bit AC resolution across 12 current ranges.
With an EIS frequency range of 10 µHz to 8 MHz, a compliance voltage of ±28 V and a maximum current of ±3 A, the IM7 covers fundamental electrochemistry, batteries, fuel and electrolysis cells, and corrosion and coatings research.
Plug-and-play cards introduce additional input/control signals to the IM7 potentiostat:
Remote control via C++, Python and WebSocket using the zahner_link library (Ethernet/WebSocket). Multiple potentiostats can be integrated into a test bench to create a multichannel system.
