Horizontally mounted, double-compartment electrochemical H-Cell with screw mount. Cell elements are made of PEEK, compatible with aqueous (FKM/EPDM O-Rings) and organic solvent (FFKM O-Rings) electrolytes. Gas-tight construction with two separate chambers, each equipped with gas inlet and outlet for bubbling and gas evacuation. Chambers are separated by an ion-exchange membrane (e.g. Nafion) to prevent cross-contamination between working and counter electrode products.
Application note Supports 2- or 3-electrode setups. Designed for materials deposited on working disk electrodes, metal mesh or foil current collectors, or electrochemically active objects in Tantalum clips. Counter electrode in second chamber; reference electrode in same chamber as working electrode. Compatible with metal wire, gauze, foil, and graphite rod counter electrodes. Typical applications: basic electrochemistry, long-term measurements, RE potential measurements, and electrosynthesis.
